Our Mission

The Chamber's mission is to be the foremost non-governmental authority on all aspects of two-way trade and investment between Canada, the United Kingdom and Europe. In the U.K. contacts are maintained principally with UKTI and the Foreign & Commonwealth Office.

The Chamber works closely with the Canadian High Commission. It also works with Canadian provincial governments and has links with the London offices of the Governments of Alberta, British Columbia, Ontario and Quebec.

The Chamber is always keen to give a speaking platform to politicians and Captains of Industry, especially on Canada, the UK, NAFTA or the EU. Recent speakers include: Canadian Prime Minister Stephen Harper MP; British Prime Minister Tony Blair MP; former 42nd US President William Jefferson Clinton; and Mr David Dodge, Governor of the Bank of Canada.
