John Pryor

I bring many years of sales, marketing and strategy into the world of intellectual property. Following senior leadership positions in pharmaceuticals and consultancy, I have invested 20 years in IP services and IP strategy consultancy helping companies to achieve competitive advantage and value through their IP. I enjoy working with founders and start-ups to develop IP strategies that satisfy multiple objectives including investment, partnership, protection, business development and exit. Commercialisation of IP through brokerage, licensing and tax credits is a particular focus. I am passionate about ensuring founders are utilising the full breadth of IP protection including formal and non formal IP, as best fits their business life cycle stage and ambitions. ​ MBA from Warwick Business School and a BSc Joint Honours in Biochemistry and Physiology from King’s College, London. Since 2009 named by Intellectual Asset Magazine (IAM) as one of the 300 Leading IP Strategists from around the world. For fun I spend time with my family and friends, getting outdoors and exercising like cross fit.
