Dominic Kieran

Dominic was appointed Global Managing Director of Cameco UK Ltd., a wholly owned subsidiary of Cameco, on

November 1, 2023.

Dominic brings many years of international experience in the nuclear industry including expertise across the full life

cycle from new build, operations, and decommissioning. Prior to joining Cameco, Dominic most recently served as

chief executive officer with Babcock Nuclear, a wholly owned subsidiary of Babcock International.

Before that, he was the managing director of Cavendish Nuclear, a nuclear services company that provides design,

construction, site operations and decommissioning services for the nuclear industry. Concurrently, he served as

chairman of the Cavendish Dounreay Partnership, which is responsible for the safe decommissioning of the Dounreay

nuclear site in Scotland.

Dominic spent 15 years with the enrichment company Urenco in increasingly senior leadership roles, including chief

commercial officer.
