Dear Members & Friends of the Chamber
This week we look at Tech sector news, following our webinar with Shirish Chauhan from WSI on Unlocking Business Potential with AI.
Following Canada's High Commission to the UK H.E. Ralph Goodale's reaction to President Trump's '51st State' comments, and British Prime Minister Keir Starmer's call to his Canadian counterpart Justin Trudeau last week welcoming an international conversation on the importance of trade and collaboration, we also include some International Trade News regarding Canada, the UK and the US. The Chamber has successfully nurtured trading relationships between Canada and the UK for over 100 years, enabling Members to progressively expand their businesses in both countries and adjacent markets. We have played a supporting role as the various trade agreements were negotiated in the past  - most recently during the post CETA arrangements, and we look forward to assisting in the future when Canada and the UK seek to expand and deepen their trading agreements.
The Chamber would like to wish a warm welcome to new SME Members: SynApps Solutions Ltd and Mat Loup, please see more below.
Our ever-evolving event programme includes a Member Networking event at Gerry's Hot Subs on 13 Feb; A Tax & Wealth Management Evening at Quebec House on 27 February and our 8th Canadian University Alumni Event at Canada House on 3 April. We have listed other Annual Events on our website, so please keep an eye on there to get the dates for your diaries. We will shortly be promoting a DEI Forum breakfast networking event at the In & Out Club on 5 March, and the Annual joint Chambers Wine, Beer, Spirits evening at Drapers' Hall, a very popular event on 11 March.
						Happy networking.
