Dear Members & Friends of the Chamber
This week we focus on Health & Life Sciences News following our half-day event at Canary Wharf’s Level39. We heard how Canada and the UK have a long and prestigious history of mutual collaboration and partnership, and a dedication to the advancement of the Health and Life Sciences industries. Adapting to global health changes and needs, both countries are forging ahead with ambitious plans to support various sectors within the industry. The event looked at the current state of the Life Sciences industry and what this means for: ecosystem development; investment opportunities; commercialization strategies and risk mitigation; and cross border partnership strategies and Growth opportunities in each country. A BIG thank you to Chamber Board Director Jaspreet Grewal for her help organising this event, and event sponsors Canary Wharf Group, Kadans, EEDN and RxPx. It was great to see so many of you there and we hope to hold this event again in 2024.
We offer a warm welcome to our newest Corporate Member: ERC Evolution.
Our December event programme drew to a close on Thursday with our Post-COP28 breakfast at Canada House, kindly sponsored and partnered by the High Commission of Canada, AtkinsRealis, Hatch and Teck. This was our 57th event this year and we are very grateful for all the many event supporters, partners and sponsors who have helped ensure we have delivered a lively and varied event programme. We look forward to kicking off the New Year with our Annual CyberSecurity Breakfast on 17 January at Canada House and hope to see many of you then.
